The Adventures of Algy

The Adventures of Algy by Jenny Chapman began life as a Tumblr blog in March 2012, where it continues to this day, presenting the adventures of a unique fluffy bird in various media.

Algy has his own Web site for children, providing support for his books, with an online dictionary, previews of the books and galleries of images and animated GIFs.

In July 2015, the first children’s book in the series Tales from The Adventures of Algy was published, followed by the second book in December 2015 and the third in December 2016. The books are suitable for children aged 7 to 10 to read alone, but are also very popular for reading to younger children as bedtime stories.

The first book was partly funded by a crowdfunding campaign, which was generously supported by followers of the Tumblr blog. The video below was produced as part of the campaign.
